Art Dept. Studios (Pottery and Glass Work, ages 6-13)

Pop Art Pottery
Paint a functional dinner set (a salad plate, dinner plate, bowl, cup, and an ice cream bowl!) while gaining inspiration from pop-art era artists such as Andy Warhol, Keith Haring and Roy Lichtenstein. We’ll create bold, bright and eye catching designs on a different piece of pottery each day. All materials included for a one-of-a-kind, food-safe, 5-piece place setting! All final projects require kiln firing and will be returned to camp for pick up approximately two weeks later.

Naturally Artistic
Campers create eco-friendly art as they revel in the colors, textures and shapes found in nature. Leaves imprint unique patterns in clay and pine branches become interesting paintbrushes. Campers will even make their own plant-able paper! Any final projects that require kiln firing will be returned to camp for pick up approximately two weeks later.

Enchanted Forests
All things mystical and magical come to life during our Enchanted Forest workshop. Campers will mix their own sculpting material from which they’ll create garden houses and sculptures. Glowing jars that light up the summer night, animal masks and forest canvas paintings are among the enchanted projects they’ll create! All projects will be completed and taken home by the end of the workshop.
