Chickadee
The Great Back Yard Bird Count is a joint project of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and the Audobon Society. It is an annual 4-day event that engages birdwatchers of all ages in counting birds to create a real-time snapshot of where the birds are.  The 2015 GBBC takes place Friday February 13th through Monday February 16th.  Everyone is welcome to participate, from beginners to experts.  Come to this overview class to learn how to register, what is involved, and learn how to ID some common backyard birds in our area that you’ll be likely to see during the count. All proceeds benefit Newtown Bird Town
