Gentle Yoga

Gentle yoga incorporates the life enhancing elements found in most yoga classes such as breathing exercises, meditation, stretching and lengthening, and building strength and balance in the physical body, resulting in overall well-being. The difference is that gentle yoga classes are somewhat easier, less intense and taught at a slower pace. It is appropriate for beginners, seniors, people with stiffness, chronic conditions, illness, those recovering from injuries or to relieve stress. Participants will benefit from assistance in poses, guidance in usage of props and connection with the yoga community.
