The life of an ant is often difficult. Did you know that an ant can lift 20 times its own body weight? Ants are hard workers who live in small to large colonies. A typical colony contains a queen who lays the eggs and many adult workers. We will discover through storytime, live specimens, pictures and activities what it is like to live like an ant. Afterwards, we will make magnetic button clothespin ants to put on your home refrigerator.
