Do you love the sound of bagpipes playing in the distance? Do you get choked up when a bagpipe band passes you in a parade playing Scotland the Brave or Amazing Grace? Have you always wanted to try your hand at this iconic Scottish instrument but didn’t know how to get started? We’ve got your solution in our Bagpipe Class, designed for individuals of all levels of musical experience, from newbies to those who play other instruments. The program is taught by Gary Guth, who’s been playing pipes for nearly 50 years and working as a full-time bagpiper and teacher for more than two decades. Mr. Guth specializes in working with beginners of all ages and is eager to help you realize your potential on this instrument. Bagpipes are not needed in order to participate. A materials fee of $100 will get you started.
