Middletown and Newtown Township offers three levels of dog training lessons at the Barn. The instructor is Dottie Peruzzi (Sit Happens Dog Training) who has attained 21 American Kennel Club obedience titles. Each session consists of 6 classes. Please bring lots of soft treats and a collar and leash (no extendable leashes). All dogs need to have age appropriate shots. Class-specific details are below.
ADVANCED TRAINING
Provides Advanced level Obedience training for puppies and dogs that have already had training and want to refine and add to those skills. Your dog will learn to Sit, Down, Stay, Come from a distance and with distractions, Stand, Backup, Walk in Heel Position, etc. We will also teach you how to get your dog to focus on you so that they respond better to your commands. We will also be teaching some tricks such as Take a Bow, Wave Hello, Pick up Your Toys, etc.
