Virtual Chess Camp (ages 5 -13)

Virtual Chess Camp for Beginners 
This camp is for children who are new to chess.  It is an introductory class that will teach the basics of piece movement, setting up the board, rules of the game, chess etiquette and simple strategies.  After learning the basics, campers will be prepared to challenge parents and friends!  There will be lots of opportunities to play games with other campers and the instructor.
 
Virtual Chess Camp for Intermediate Players 
This virtual camp is designed for children who are familiar with the basics of piece movement and rules of the game.  This camp is geared toward players rated 400-800, although a rating is not necessary.  Curriculum will include opening and endgame strategies, piece development, and opportunities to play several opponents followed by game analysis.
 
Virtual Chess Camp for Advanced Players 
This virtual camp is designed for children who are ready to advance to in-depth checkmating combinations. This camp is geared toward players with tournament experience rated 800-1200, although a tournament experience is not a requirement.  Curriculum will include discussion of endgame positions and reviews of Master Games.  There will be lots of opportunities to play several opponents followed by game analysis.
