Join 4th Degree Black Belt Instructor, Tim Perry, with over 35 years martial arts experience, for Jujitsu and various defense classes.Participants will learn techniques for defense including: kicking, punching, blocking, grappling, throws and proper falls. Students will gain discipline, respect and self-confidence through training.

The ultimate total body workout to build a lean, strong sculpted body! If you want to tone and define selected muscle groups, this class is for you! This unique weekly group program is a fun introduction to music and piano. In addition to being hands on at the keyboard, children will learn about and explore music with crafts, games, prizes and other fun activities! This class teaches children the concepts that will prepare them for formal music lessons such as note reading, finger placement, music symbols and note values. They will also learn about and see many different instruments (saxophone, guitar, violin, clarinet, ukulele, marimba, flute, etc.)  This is an excellent starting point for a child who shows an interest in music/piano! If you would like to work with your child on the concepts at home, there is an optional $10 fee for the “Piano Fun for Kids” Guide that goes along with this class.*It is not required to have a keyboard or a piano at home to take this class. Instructor: Dayle Magida, BM

Gentle yoga incorporates the life enhancing elements found in most yoga classes such as breathing exercises, meditation, stretching and lengthening, and building strength and balance in the physical body, resulting in overall well-being. The difference is that gentle yoga classes are somewhat easier, less intense and taught at a slower pace. It is appropriate for beginners, seniors, people with stiffness, chronic conditions, illness, those recovering from injuries or to relieve stress. Participants will benefit from assistance in poses, guidance in usage of props and connection with the yoga community. Instructor: Karen Vanderwall*participants should dress in comfortable stretch clothing and bring a yoga mat.

Twirl your way to becoming a dancing prince or princess! Young ballet dancers will learn basic ballet positions and how to move their bodies gracefully as they dance to their favorite songs. Ballet attire is not required but great fun!  Instructor: Kelli Robbins

Indian FavoritesLearn how to make the versatile and famous Indian snack – samosas – with different types of stuffing in them.  You’ll also learn how to turn samosas into a meal by adding chhole (chick pea gravy) and some delicious fixings on top.  Please bring your favorite knife and chopping board. Indian Street FoodAnyone for Indian-style Sloppy Joes?  Come learn how to make Pav Bhaji – mixed Indian –style veggies cooked and mashed with different spices mixed in.  This is eaten with pan roasted buns. We’ll also make Sev Puri – little puffed shells with lots of toppings.  Please bring your favorite knife and chopping board. Indian Sides & SandwichesLearn how to make delicious and tempting Indian-style fritters – Aloo & Onion Pakodas (potatoes & onions).They are easy to make and are a great addition to any meal. Create your own retreat experience now: This is a 75 min. weekly retreat experience where participants immerse themselves in moving meditation, yoga and emotional intelligence practices. Each week participants will be guided into developing a short practice for tuning into their physical, emotional and social selves and processing through challenges. Participants will be given the space, opportunity and tools to literally experience “getting it off my chest” in a safe and supportive environment. 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM    Mixed Media Art Class (ages 8 & up) - Mixed Media Collage
Art classes are an excellent way to promote creativity in kids. This mixed media art program will explore mosaics, painting, and other fun crafts.   Acrylic Pouring for Kids: Create a colorful painting without using a single brush! We use paint and gravity to make these paintings on canvas. Dress for a MESS! Acrylic paint does stain, so please dress accordingly.  You will be bringing home a wet painting and will need to let it air dry for several days. Mixed Media Collage: Take home a work of art on canvas using paint, buttons, gems, torn paper, shells and other fun mediums! You can also bring your own old artwork on paper (that you are willing to cut up) to use as part of your creation!  Decorative Containers: Use these containers to store slime, hair-ties, paper clips or your other small items. We use fake "whip cream," glitter, and fake sweets or action figures to decorate the lids of the containers.  "Stained Glass" Mosaic Magnet and Sun Catcher Mandala: Using colorful translucent plastic pieces on a plexi-glass magnet, students will piece together their mosaic using clear glue. Each magnet is 4" in diameter. Love to color? These sun catchers will look stunning hanging from your window. The sun catcher mandalas are 10" in diameter, and after coloring, students will get to decorate them using assorted gemstones.

A DIY class for all things on the wall! Hands on class on hanging art, shelves,TVs and more. Learn how to find studs, use wall anchors, select hanging hardware and patch holes in drywall. Art classes are an excellent way to promote creativity in kids. This mixed media art program will explore mosaics, painting, and other fun crafts.   Acrylic Pouring for Kids: Create a colorful painting without using a single brush! We use paint and gravity to make these paintings on canvas. Dress for a MESS! Acrylic paint does stain, so please dress accordingly.  You will be bringing home a wet painting and will need to let it air dry for several days. Mixed Media Collage: Take home a work of art on canvas using paint, buttons, gems, torn paper, shells and other fun mediums! You can also bring your own old artwork on paper (that you are willing to cut up) to use as part of your creation!  Decorative Containers: Use these containers to store slime, hair-ties, paper clips or your other small items. We use fake "whip cream," glitter, and fake sweets or action figures to decorate the lids of the containers.  "Stained Glass" Mosaic Magnet and Sun Catcher Mandala: Using colorful translucent plastic pieces on a plexi-glass magnet, students will piece together their mosaic using clear glue. Each magnet is 4" in diameter. Love to color? These sun catchers will look stunning hanging from your window. The sun catcher mandalas are 10" in diameter, and after coloring, students will get to decorate them using assorted gemstones.

Join us this fall, as students learn all about theatre by doing it themselves!  Children are guided, by the instructors, through a process where they play theatre games, create a story, and work together to make that story into a working theatrical production. The participants create their own character, plot, props, costumes, title, and everything else that's needed to make the production complete. Originating in China, Mah Jongg is a fun, exciting, and engaging game using tiles to form hands, much like rummy. Learn to play the American version using the National Mah Jongg League rules and card.
